Following a fairytale 2015/16 season, Leicester City’s kit partner, Puma, needed disruptive social marketing content that connected with fans and admirers and keep #FearlessFoxes trending until the end of the season. The project came with a bunch of creative challenges. Due to Premier League licensing fees we couldn’t use any existing footage or stills, and the campaign was reactionary - so needed to be conceived, produced and delivered to incredibly short deadlines. We created an 8-bit tribute to a memorable season, in 4:3 aspect ratio and quirky soundtrack for full 90’s authenticity. Distributed by Puma, Leicester City and the Social Chain network, the campaign made a real connection with fans - gaining over 25 million organic impressions, legendary rock band Kasabian gave our video some love (see below) and we had several news articles written about it.
